(MOORESVILLE, N.C. - August 6, 2012) - After having a solid run in Indianapolis last weekend, Buster Graham and Team BCR Racing were ready to make their way back to the race track at Pocono Raceway in the Pennsylvania ARCA 125.
At the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event, 35 drivers took the stage in hopes for a great run.
Buster qualified in the 21st position the day before the race in the #88 Batter’s Dream/RoushYates.com Ford Fusion. With only one pit stop in the entire race, Crew Chief, Jim Pearce decided to bring the car in on lap 37 for fuel and a change of tires under green flag conditions. With only 13 laps left to finish the race, it was almost impossible to gain any positions, ending the race in the 18th position.
“I wish there would have been another caution,” said Crew Chief Jim Pearce. “By having another caution would have increased our chances of having a better finish. This race track is a little difficult to gain better positions when everyone is farther apart from another. I just want to thank everyone for their help including the entire crew at Team BCR, Batter’s Dream, RoushYates Performance Parts and RoushYates Engines.”
