(MOORESVILLE, N.C. - July 16, 2012) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards held the Prairie Meadows 200 at Iowa Speedway Friday.

Buster Graham and Team BCR arrived at the speedway with the #88 Batter’s Dream/RoushYatesParts.com Ford Fusion for the one day race event. Going into this race, Buster Graham, driver of the #88 Ford Fusion, is the current points leader for the CGS Imaging Hard Charger Award.

After completing two practice sessions throughout the day, Buster Graham was feeling a bit nervous for the Menard’s Pole Qualifying session. During the second practice session of the day, Graham felt the track was losing grip. He was a little hesitant with driving the RoushYates powered Ford at its full capabilities.

“I know there’s always room for improvement,” said Buster Graham. “It wasn’t easy seeing someone wreck in qualifying right before I was ready to go and then spinning out earlier during the practice session. As always Team BCR did a great job providing me with a  great car. I want to also thank Batter’s Dream, RoushYates Engines, RoushYates Performance Parts and Ford Racing for helping make this happen. I can’t wait to get back out on the track for Chicagoland this next weekend. We had a great test there and I got a lot of quality seat time.”

Buster Graham started the Prairie Meadows 200 in the 26th position. Crew Chief Jim Pearce, would bring in the #88 Batter’s Dream/RoushYatesParts.com Ford Fusion for fuel and four tires on lap 77 when a caution came out. Buster battled his way on up to the 19th position to finish the race.

Crew Chief, Jim Pearce, says, “Buster did a great job considering this track is very demanding. The pit crew did a great job at our pit stop. Everything ran pretty smoothly throughout the entire day and we kept the car in good condition.”

Howard Bixman, Team Manager, commented on the race, “It was very hard and nerve racking not to be there this week. I couldn’t be there due to unfortunate circumstances. Buster is a very talented driver and has progressed very well this year. This is only his 11th ARCA race that he has been a part of, and has already achieved a top ten finish at Michigan. I want to thank our Marketing Partners along with Jim Pearce and the crew along with the staff at Team BCR. They all sacrifice a lot and work hard, long hours and do a great job week after week.”

Batter's Dream is an automated ball feeding system (pitching machine) that allows baseball and softball players to maximize time in the batting cage by getting more quality cuts without having to fix a tee. The major benefit of the Batter's Dream batting machines is that it allows batters the freedom to focus on rhythm, stance, timing, and swing speed without the need for a second person. The Batter's Dream system has found fans ranging from little league to professional baseball players.
